"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2nd Timothy 4:7 Yvonne Delk departed from her earthly care after her health bean to fail to rest in the arms of her heavenly Father on November 10, 2020 at Autumn Care in Suffolk, VA She was one of nine children born in Isle of Wight County, March 3, 1940 to the late Martin W. Wilson and Edith J. Wilson. She attended Isle of Wight Training School. Yvonne was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend who loved her family and music. She was preceded in death by her brothers James E. and Andrew L. Wilson and her sister Willie R. Price. Yvonne is survived by her three sisters; Bernice (Rick) Towns, Viola (Tony) Powell and Evelyn Picott, four brothers; Luther W. Wilson, David Wilson, Reginald (Veronica)Wilson and Calvin Langhorne Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory one son, Corey Delk and one daughter Selma Westbrook. eight grandchildren: Corey, Travis, Timothy, Casey, Tiffany, Timekhi, Leela and Meleeha, three great-grandchildren:, Tyasia, Corey Jr., and Tiara as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
