William McChell Chapman ; 27, went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 13, 2017. William was orginally from Smithfield Va. He graduated from King Folk High School. William was employed at Burger King. He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Gladys Ford and Marshall Davis. He is survived by his wife Laishi Chapman of Portsmouth, mother; Marchia Ford, father; Bobby Davis both of Smithfield, Va daughter; Aiyanna Chapman of Carrollton, Va sister; Anita Chapman of Smithfield, brothers; Kevin Williams of Maryland and Byron Smith of Newport New Va. one nephew; Dereon Hill, Godfather; Linwood Harris. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held at Friendship Cathedral C.O.G.I.C 5511 Godwin Blvd, Suffolk, Va. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 12 noon led by Bishop Joseph Chase. Professional services entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
