Virginia Bailey Walker

Virginia Bailey Walker, a native of Smithfield, Va, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016. She was born to the late Joseph A. Bailey and Kathrin M. Bailey on April 12, 1931. Virginia is survived by her husband James E. Walker (married 64 years), daughter; Shannye W. Carroll, son; James E Walker Jr. (Monica), grandchildren; Bryce, Alecia, Courtney, Bailey and Kailey, great grandchildren; Madison and Alexander. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at First Gravel Hill Baptist Church, 5230 Old Stage Hwy, Smithfield, Va. Interment will be in the First Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Shivers Funeral Chapel 12749 Courthouse Hwy, Smithfield, Va.
