Vanessa L. Diggs

Vanessa L. Diggs entered eternal rest with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 26, 2022. She spent the final hours of her earthly life at her home surrounded by her loving family. Vanessa was born on May 11, 1955 to her loving parents Maso J. Bowser and Lillian Frances Thomas Bowser. She was married to Calvin B Diggs who she loved dearly. He was the love of her life, her best friend, a great father to their children, rock of the family and a stabilizing force in her life. Vanessa was a devoted mother. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as NENE to her many grandchildren. She worked at various hospitality and customer service jobs throughout her life. She had a smile and a laugh that would light up any room. She was known for her kindness, giving heart and her love for people. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Roderick Bowser, Tracey Evans (Dakar), Corey Hall (Deborah), Casey Hall (Denise), Tiffany Epperson (Antwan), Rodney Hall (Carla), Calvin F Diggs, Tamrica Hardy (James) and Frances Diggs; her siblings Lillian Vernette Wiggins, Sherman Bowser (Susie), Steve Bowser, Audy “Bill” Bowser (Joyce), Tammie Duncan (Keith) and Lolesia Bowser; her in-laws Catherine Finney, Stella Finney (Russell), James Turner and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00pm on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Main Street Baptist Church Mission Center.
