July 1, 1940 — June 17, 2022

Estelle Holloman White departed peacefully from this earth on Friday, June 17, 2022at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA Estelle was born on July 1, 1940 to the late Ollie and Margaret Holloman and was one of five siblings. She was a native of Smithfield, Va and attended Isle of Wight Training School. At an early age, Estelle joined Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Ivor, Va. She was employed with Spriggs until she retired in 2005. After retirement, Estelle enjoyed sitting on her stoop no matter the season. She was wise, generous, and always loved to give God all the praise. Some of her favorite scriptures were Luke 10:27; “He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself” and Exodus 20:12; Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. She truly loved her family and although she didn’t get out much, she made sure that she would send her love to each of us. Estelle was preceded in death by her husband Thomas R. White; her daughter Regina Uzzle; her son Ronnie Boone; her brothers Leon Holloman and Ollie Holloman Jr; and her sister Marie Eley.
