Apostle Shenetta Carter Kelley, also known as "Che Che" entered into eternal rest with herLord and Savior on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Norfolk Sentara Hospital, Norfolk, Virginia.She was born October 12, 1956 to the late Leslie and Frances Ballard Carter Sr. Shenetta, a resident of Smithfield, Virginia and was employed by Isle of Wight County Schools forover 30 years where she worked as a School Bus Driver and the Transportation Trainer. Sheloved her job and co-workers.Shenetta was a hard worker and determined to get the job done. She was known by many for her hilarious and witty ways. She was a woman of wisdom andshe loved the Lord. The Book of Proverbs was her favorite scriptures reading.Her charm,charisma, smile, spontaneousjokes, laughter, and expertise bus training skills will be missed.There was never a dull moment when in her presence and while in the hospital she continued withthe jokes, she didn't allow what was going on to steal her joy.She was also the Pastor of The Table Is Spread Outreach Ministry located in Newport News, Va.Shenetta waspreceded in death by her father and two brothers; Steve Wilson Carter and Fallando Carter. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Bruce Diggs Jr., two sisters, Linda Spratley (Frank) andBarbara Spratley (Luther). Two brothers, Andre Carter and Leslie Carter Jr.(Betty), a host ofnieces, nephews, co-workers, and other friends and relatives who will sorely miss her. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Smithfield High School, Smithfield, Va. Interment will be in the Ebenezer cemetery, Windsor, Va. Professional services are entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.Burial Date July 3, 2018
