Richard A. Diggs 76,a Christian soldier that fought the good fight of faith, was called home on February 25, 2020 at his residence in Baltimore, Maryland.

Richard was born on to the late and Jessie and Rissie Jenkins Diggs.Richard was baptized and joined Little Zion Baptist Church.He was a member there until he moved to Baltimore, Maryland over 50 years ago.There he joined severalchurches but God eventually led him to Alabaster Ministries Church.He was faithful member and Deacon under the leadership of Bishop Timothy Tillman. He leaves to cherish precious memories to his children Novella Eley, Vera (William) Blackwell; grandchildren, Quinto Savage, Master Sergeant Kevin Diggs, Onyx Eley, Kandra Blackwell; great-grandchildren, Adantae Henry, Sy'rai Diggs, Danyella Diggs, Azziza Brown, Kymani Eley, Kenny Diggs and his siblings, Curtis Diggs, Herbert Diggs, Eloise Covington, and John Diggs.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11am Thursday March 5,2020 at Little Zion Baptist Church, Smithfield,VA. Viewing will take place Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 4-7 PM at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Richard is in the loving and professional care of Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Diggs Family in prayer.
