Reginald Edmund Tillar

On the evening of June 4, 2024, God sent a heavenly angel to lead Reginald Edmund Tillar to his just reward.

Reginald was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on June 14, 1952 to the late James and Catherine Tillar.

He was employed at Vico Construction for forty plus years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife JoeAnn Patricia Tillar; two sons Reginald Edmund Tillar, Jr., of Portsmouth, Virginia and Mario Davis of Connecticut; twin brother Ronald Edward Tillar (Iveeta) of Portsmouth, Virginia; two sisters Jamie Craig of Chesapeake, Virginia and Sylvia Copeland (Benjamin) of Williamsburg, Virginia; his aunt Joyce Curtis (James) of Texas; his uncle Ali Ridley of Chesapeake, Virginia; one granddaughter, two grandsons and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Greater Mt. Zion, 3100 Deep Creek Blvd.  Portsmouth, Va. 23704.  Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.  Please keep the Tillar family in your prayers.
