Quenten D. Turner

Quenten DeAndre aka “Dre” Turner transitioned from this life Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born Thursday, December 9, 1993 to Barry and Elaine Turner Nichols.

Dre was baptized at Little Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed taking pictures, riding motorcycles and having fun. He would brighten any room with his smile and funny personality. He was employed at Client Fist Home Health, Portsmouth, VA

Dre ‘s paternal grandfather Sherman Nichols preceded him in death.

Dre’s memory will be treasured by his loving parents Barry and Elaine Turner Nichols, his siblings Mysti Nichols, Barry (Gina) Nichols  and Jayla Nichols: his paternal Grandmother, Elizabeth Rawles; his maternal grandparents Willie and Florence Turner; his godparents Eric and Debora Nichols; his godbrothers Tywan Eley, Zachary Holemon and Cirroc Williams: special friends Travis Hatton, Charles “Chuck” Wilson, Paul Pond, Derrick Whitley and Bruce “Duce” Kidd, IV. He will be missed beyond imagination by a host of uncles, aunts cousins and friends.

Dre will be cherished by all who loved him. His memories will be in our hearts forever. Rest in paradise until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Friendship Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. 5511 Godwin Blvd. Suffolk, Va. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Public viewing will be at Shivers Funeral Chapel, Friday from 4-6pm. Please keep the Nichols/Turner family in your prayers.
