Peggy L Tynes Birchette

OnApril 22, 2016, Peggy (Juicy) Loretta Birchette Tynes, 64 took wings to be with our Heavenly Father. She was the loving daughter to the late Joe Louis and Dolly Davis Birchette. Peggy attended Isle of Wight Public Schools and worked at Gwaltney Meat Packing Plant as well as nursing attendant for years. Her home began in the town of the Central Hill, Va., but later resided in Petersburg, Va, Newport News as well as Hampton, Va. She had been battling with Diabetes for a number of years. With a trooper like her in the line of duty, she is called a fighter. Peggy was preceded in death by her daughter Dewanna M. Barnes and two brothers; Joe Louis and Charlie Birchette. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Miss Jenika N. Tynes of Hampton, Va. A special grandson Arkeyla Birchette of Smithfield, Va., three aunts Mable Howard of Brooklyn, NY, Annie Diggs of Smithfield, Va., and Martha Wiggins of Waverly, Va., ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Three special friends; sister Clarice Birt of Portsmouth, Va., Lorinda Bowden and Magaret Roberts of Smithfield, Va. We will remember her forever, but will miss her earthly being the most with her big smile that lights any dark room up. Now we know her earthly time is up, there is some more work God has plan for her.
