Paul Junior Pittman

Paul Junior Pittman, much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was born July 4, 1938 to the late Paul Ellis Pittman and Elizabeth Allmond Pittman. He retired from the Newport News Shipbuilding after 40 years of service. He was a faithful member of Christian Home Baptist Church for 73 years and served in numerous ministries. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sarah Frances Ensley Pittman; his daughter, Towana Pittman-Dorsey (Kevin) of Suffolk, and three sons, Juan Pittman (Natasha) of Alpharetta GA; Paul Titus Pittman (Chanda) and Travis Pittman (Teri) all of Suffolk VA; 8 grandchildren; Tierra, Jessica, Caleb, Jonathan, Nicholas, Cameron, Nicole and Joshua; one great-grandchild, Carvanni; one brother, James Pittman (Marshall) of Suffolk; one uncle, Charles Allmond of Suffolk; two brother-in laws, Walter Ensley (Shelia) of Chesapeake, Charlie Ensley (Rita) of Suffolk, four sisters-in-law, Louise Diggs, Lynette Ensley (Rayford), Lauranette Godwin and Lisa Denson (Harold) all of Suffolk; and a host of bonus children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Christian Home Baptist Church in Windsor, Virginia at 11:00 a.m. The Viewing/Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at Shivers Funeral Chapel at 12749 Courthouse Hwy Smithfield, Virginia.
