Patrick Blackmon

Patrick Blackmon transitioned from this life on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at his residence. Patrick Conway Blackmon was born December the 10th 1960 to the marital union of Ruth Jordan Blackmon and Lawrence Blackmon. He most recently resided in Suffolk Virginia and worked in the Chesapeake area. Patrick was a kind hearted, charismatic and free spirited soul. He was a gifted singer, songwriter and performer. His ultimate pastimes included fishing and watching football, sharing conversations with his Facebook friends. Patrick is survived by his loving sister, Denise Blackmon Thomas, his brother in law Henry Thomas of South Carolina and a host of cousins and friends throughout the country. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm Saturday February 2, 2019 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Viewing will take place Friday February 1, 2019 from 4-7pm at the chapel.
