Smithfield Major Goodman, 72, entered into eternal rest and peace on Saturday, July 11, 2015. He was born on November 12,1942 to the late Richard Goodman Jr. and Margaret T. Williams. Major was preceded in death by his wife Earnestine Goodman and his daughter Daisey Goodman. He leaves to cherish his memory his brother Milton Gene Goodman; five children Anthony Goodman, Terry Goodman, Sharon Goodman, Ray Goodman, John Goodman; eleven grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews relative and friends. A funeral Service will be held 11am Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
