Lois Edna Carr

Lois Edna Carr entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Rosemont Health and Rehabilitation, Virginia Beach, VA. 

Lois retired from Isle of Wight Public Schools after 20 years of employment. From childhood to well into adulthood, she was a dedicated member of the usher board at Chapel Grove United Church of Christ in Windsor, VA. 

She was the daughter of the late Solomon Carr and Florence Ruffin Carr.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Mr. Dwayne (Gabi) Carr of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Dr. Felicia Carr (Jarvis) Thomas of Fredericksburg, VA; a granddaughter, Miss Brianna Thomas of Houston, TX; a brother, Mr. Morris Carr of Windsor, VA; three sisters, Ms. Vernell Carr of Windsor, VA, Mrs. Merdell (Vernon) Simmons of Windsor, VA and Mrs. Flora (Darrel) Ford of Elgin, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
