Lillie W. Bailey

On Friday, April 14, 2023 God called home our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Lillie Dynella Bailey to eternal rest at her home in Smithfield, Virginia. Lillie was born to the late Matthew Lee Williams and the late Margue Ree Williams of North Carolina.

Lillie was a light in life. Her smile and wit was contagious. She loved to read books, go riding out, watching homemaker shows and collecting some of the most suspenseful movies. She also loved and would brag about her family.

She was also predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Midgett and Anita Tillman; and her brothers, Dawsie Williams and Alphonso Williams.

Lillie will be forever remembered by her loving husband Freddie Augusta Bailey, Sr of Smithfield, Va., one daughter, Shakeiria La'Shat Williams; her son, Sherron Donte Worrell , three grand-daughters, Anayzah Kynes Williams, AKeira Kyaizah Saunders, AKelzah Keiari Saunders; two grandsons, Donald Kings, Ill and Treu King; her step-daughters, KaTrina Rowson, Marion Williams, Noreen Scott, her step-son, Freddie Bailey, Jr.., special bonus son, Kelley Saunders; her sisters, Freda Brown, Suffolk, Va., Emily Copeland (Marvin), Chesapeake, Va., Carlena Williams, Williamsburg, Va., her brothers, Timothy Williams (Vernice), Suffolk, Va., Matthew Williams, Virginia Beach, Va., and Lindwood Williams, Chesapeake, Va.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 pm Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Bailey Family in your prayers.
