Leondus Michael Holloman

Our dear Leondus Michael Holloman unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Lil Mike was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many. Leondus, or Lil Mike/ My Dude., as we sometimes affectionately called him, was born on August 31, 1982, in Newport News, VA to Vanessa Elder (Frank) and Michael Hundley Sr. (Caroyln).

Mike was raised in Surry County, Virginia and graduated from Surry County High School. Mike loved football (Denver Broncos), basketball, and spending time with family and friends. He was smart, funny, and kind. His warm embrace warmed everyone that surrounded him. Those who knew him even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Leondus was preceded in death by his brother Michael “Herk” Hudley Jr. He is survived by his children Jhadae Drew, Lavontae Thompson, and Dakota Holloman; sisters Sharika Jones(Mario), Tonya Adkinson-Dugger, Danita Williams, Shawn Williams, and Toni Williams; brothers Darrell Hudley (Johnette), Lorenzo Williams, Gregory Williams, Timothy Williams, and Kenny Williams; nieces Shanequa Holloman, Larreka Rainey (Tre’Shaun), Erica Adkinson, Tremona Dugger and Shamardre Chambers; nephews Rishad Adkinson, Monta Hudley, Rasheem McMillion and Wayne Hill; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, and friends. We will miss Mike and #44 will forever be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 am Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Holloman family in your thoughts and prayers.
