The Life of Kimberly Michelle Spriggs

On Monday, January 22, 2024, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend Kimberly Michelle Spriggs entered into eternal rest in Newport News, Virginia.

Kimberly was born on October 8, 1982 to Larry Spriggs and the late Cynthia Palmer Spriggs.

Kimberly was educated in the Hampton Public School System graduating in 2000. She continued her education at Thomas Nelson Community College, Norfolk State University, and Old Dominion University graduating with a degree in Human Service. 

Kimberly loved her family and friends. 

Kimberly was preceded in death by Cynthia Palmer Spriggs, Roynol Percell Palmer, and Seanie Spriggs. 

Kimberly leaves to cherish her memory one son, the love of her life, Shaun Spriggs; her father Larry S. Spriggs; two brothers Kevin Spriggs (Aaraye) and Larry E. Spriggs; two sisters Leslie Spriggs and Krystal D. Etienne (Claudy); her devoted grandmother Hattie R. Palmer; three uncles Calvin Palmer (Belinda), Reginald Palmer, and Stanley Palmer; one loving aunt Sherry Palmer; devoted family and friends Vera Blunt, Lartarsha Wormley, Shaletha Gray, Cherise Callahan, Tonya Dudley, Crystal Rothwell, Aaraye Spriggs, and Alinda Wheeler and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Ebeneezer Cemetery, Uzzell Church Road, Windsor, VA. Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 2-5pm at the chapel.
