Kimberly Ann Flemming, passed away unexpectedly from this earthly life to eternal peace on March 4, 2022, at her home in Richmond, Virginia. She was born in Pyongtaek-kun, Korea on January 24, 1982 as the only child to Master Sgt Hugh W. Flemming, Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.) and Mrs. Chong Pak Flemming. Kimberly attended Virginia Korean United Methodist Church, Suffolk, Virginia. Kimberly who was affectionately known as Kim, Kimmy, and Annie, was a 2001 honor graduate of Surry County High School, Surry, Virginia. Three years later, in 2004, Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication, Magna Cum Laude, from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. During her collegiate years, Kimberly interned at the company that hired her upon graduation and she remained a dedicated employee with Lockwood Broadcast Group for 18 years. Kim enjoyed playing sports, spoke several languages, and loved animals. All holidays and birthdays Kimberly called family and friends wishing them well. Everyone could count on Kim calling. Kimberly had a loving spirit, an infectious smile, and love spending time with her family and friends. Left to treasure her memories are her parents, Master Sgt. Hugh W. Flemming, Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.) and Mrs. Chong Pak Flemming, Great Aunts, Vermont W. Osborne of Surry, VA and Karen Wilson of Newport News, VA, cousins, other relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Friday, March 11, 2022 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Viewing will take place Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
