Javawn Zavonai Brown transitioned from this life on Monday September 28, 2020. She was the daughter of Darryl and Lisa Evans Taliaferro. She graduated from Nansemond river Hight School in 2006 and received her Medical Assistant Certificate in 2012. Because of her love of service and a heart for people she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. After transitioning out of the Medical field she worked at a variety of other jobs until she joined the Tysinger Automotive Family in Hampton, VA as a Sales Coordinator and a licensed Sales Representative.
Besides her parents she is survived by her husband James Lee Brown, III son; Dacion, her sister Taliyah, her paternal grandmother Bessie Taliaferro and her maternal Grandmother Peggy Holloman Evans. Many others treasure her memory; her Godmother Brenda Carter, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Graveside Celebration will be held 11am Monday, October 5, 2020 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will take place Sunday October 4, 2020 from 2-4pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
