Herbert Lee Ricks Sr. of Suffolk Va., departed this life on March 31st, 2015. He was born to the late Roscoe Ricks Sr. and Lillian Porter Ricks on September 10th, 1939. He was preceded in death by both parents and his siblings, Slester Ricks andRoscoe Ricks Jr. He leaves to mourn his siblings, Tyrone Ricks and Veronica Branch, his wife Betty, nine children, twenty-one grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family members. Services to be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Shivers Funeral Home, 12749 Courthouse Hwy, Smithfield Va.
