Herbert Jones, Jr.

On November 2, 2023, God dispatched his angels and called Herbert Jones, Jr. to his eternal home. He was born May 14, 1975, to Katie Jones and Herbert Jones, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Katie Jones (Surry, Virginia); father Herbert Jones, Sr. (Suffolk, Virginia); sisters Kescha Dean (Portsmouth, Virginia), Karen Porter and Tawanda Porter (Suffolk, Virginia); goddaughter Aniya Anderson (Chesapeake, Virginia); maternal grandmother Hester Washington (Windsor, Virginia) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who are celebrating Herbert’s life.

On Tuesday, November 7, 2023 a Viewing will be held from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will take place 12pm Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at New Jones Grove Baptist Church Windsor, VA. Please keep the Jones family in your thoughts and prayers.
