She moved her membership to attend church close to home, but God led her back home to Brown`s on August 8, 2021. Gloria loved the Lord and wasn't afraid to show it. Her faithfulness and her spirit filled the sanctuary when she walked through the door.

Gloria had many hobbies which included reading her Bible, cooking, crocheting, search word puzzles, crossword, and all kinds of puzzles. Shopping was a favorite thing for Gloria, she could shut a store down. Gloria loved organizing family gatherings and spending time with everyone together.
Gloria was preceded in death by her brother Raymond (Fox) Lewis Haskins, foster parents Horace and Sarah Gatewood, foster brothers Tyrone, Horace, and Linwood Gatewood, special aunts Iola Brumskin, Eunice Ridley, and Eugene Carter.
Gloria's loving memories were especially cherished by her loving and very devoted husband Ray Charles Spratley; children Tacarra Rozetta Jackson (Lawrence) of Yorktown, Va. and Chablis Vincent Haskins of Newport News, Va.; grandchildren Chablis Vincent Haskins Jr., Serenity and Raymond Jackson; three great-grandchildren Samir Haskins, Samirh Haskins and Cee Jay Haskins; sisters Sarah C.
