Geraldine Brown Williams

Geraldine Brown Williams, 73, went to her eternal home on February 17, 2022. She was a native of Suffolk, Virginia and the daughter of the late William W. Brown, Sr. and Mamie Pope Brown. She accepted Christ as her savior when she was young. She became a member of Rose of Sharon United Holiness Church where she attended until she was unable to. She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and was employed at Lipton Tea for several years. She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband Arthur Williams, two children Christina Williams Porter (Jaffrey L. Porter) and Corey Williams, five grandchildren Angel J. Parker, Rai-Shad Williams, Isaiah Porter, Amerrika Porter and Emanuel Burrus, sister Gloria L. Brown, brother William Brown, Jr. (Barbara Brown) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Rose of Sharon United Holiness Church 2440 Nansemond Parkway Suffolk, VA. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Shivers Funeral Chapel 12749 Courthouse Highway, Smithfield, VA and one hour prior to the service at the church.
