The Life and Legacy of Floyd Reginald Davis

On June 11, 2024, Floyd (Stinka) was called by God to depart this earthly life suddenly.

Floyd was born October 20, 1965 in Southampton County, Virginia to Floyd Sr. and Zephia Davis. He was educated in Southampton County School System. Floyd worked for Smithfield Food in Smithfield, VA until his death.

Floyd accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Ivor, VA. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Floyd leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Rosalind Davis, his daughter Alexus Davis, granddaughter Miracle Hobbs, one brother Larry Davis (Tikesha), one nephew Donell Davis, aunts and uncles Carleen Nathan, Florine and Ernest Poole and Francine and Hurley Holloman; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends to carry on his legacy. Floyd’s pride and joy Joy-Davon Bush, Bella Bush and Fee Fee, Deloris Hamlin.

Floyd will be truly missed.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024 viewing will take place from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. At 11am on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, a Celebration of Life will be held at Shivers Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow the service at Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery, 14165 Racetrack Road, Ivor, VA. 23866.
