Eugene Robertson

Eugene Robertson was born March 5, 1953 to the late Thomas Robertson Sr. and Blanche Harris Robertson. Affectionately known as "Nickey" Eugene was the youngest amongst eight. "Nickey" grew up in Smithfield, Virginia with a strong work ethics and a love for enjoying life. He played football for Smithfield High School which inspired his dedication for the Dallas Cowboys. In 1976, "Nickey" joined the US Navy. In 1977 He married his high school sweetheart Carol Langhorne. They moved to Vallejo, California and started their family with Xavier born April 5, 1973 and Tameka born March 2, 1983. While living in Vallejo, Nickey joined the Masons, Moses Lodge 115, Benicia CA

He is survived by his wife Carol, son Dr. Xavier Livermon, daughter Tameka Tataw (Elvis) brothers, George (Elaine), TR (Shirley), Lawrence (Rosalee), Landus (Vicky), sisters, Gloria, Edith (Moses), and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of life service will be held 1:00pm, Tuesday Feb. 17, 2015 at Main Street Baptist Church. Interment will be held in the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial  Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA
