Debra Elizabeth Robertson

On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, Ms. Debra Elizabeth Robertson, answered God's call and said goodbye to earth's cares. She was born March 12, 1963, to the late Stanley Robertson Sr. and Ira Lucille Thomas Robertson. Debbie, resided at The Zuni Presbyterian Home for a good portion of her life. There she attending a four year training program where she received a special diploma. Debbie also worked at the center for a few year, before moving to Smithfield VA. Debbie, loved her son and grandchildren dearly. Whenever you saw her, she was always smiling. She loved to challenge anyone who would take her on, to a dance battle. She loved to dance! She also enjoyed listening to music, do crossword puzzles, and eat at Hardee's. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Iris O. White, Lora Robertson, and Cecilia Towns. Five brothers; Howard L. Thomas, Wilbert Thomas Sr., Stanley Robertson Jr., Willie Robertson and Walter Robertson Sr. She is Survived by her son Travis Robertson. Three grandchildren; Nyajia Robertson, Tristan Robertson and Zy'ion Robertson. Two sisters; Kathy Newby, and Shelia Mayo. One brother Michael Robertson Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, a very special caregiver Rochelle Picott. Debbie also shared her life and love with her boyfriend Billy Wrenn, who she loved dearly. Although our beloved Debbie is no longer with us, the memories we have created with her are forever etched in our hearts. She is gone, but will never be forgotten. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Shivers Funeral Chapel BY INVITATION ONLY. Viewing will take place on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the chapel from 4-6pm. Please keep the Robertson Family in your prayers.
