On December 1, 2022, God in his infinite way called home from labor to reward Bruce Diggs, Sr. in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA. Bruce was born in Isle of Wight County, December 10, 1955 to the late Simm Diggs and Mary H. Eley.

Bruce was educated in the Isle of Wight County School System. He worked for Newport News Shipbuilding until he became unable to work. Bruce bore his sickness with dignity and grace putting it all in God’s hands. Bruce leaves to cherish his memory Son Bruce Diggs, Jr., a special devoted friend Joyce Buck; brother Simm L. Diggs, Jr. (Jeraldine) sister, Delores Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 12pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Diggs family in your prayers.
