Bobby "Sly" Winnegan

Bobby  Ray “Sly” Winnegan 46,  of Suffolk, VA passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Norfolk, VA. He was born to the late Gordon Ray Winnegan, Jr., and Mrs. Anna Baker Diggs.

He attended Smithfield High School and worked for Site Work South Construction. Bobby was a hard worker who enjoyed riding motorcycles, being a Music DJ  and playing pool.

Bobby’s memory will always remain with his mother and stepfather, Anna Baker Diggs and James Diggs, his children, Bobby LeRay Winnegan, Raven Eley, Taija Ruffin, Tyrah Winnegan, Raquan Winnegan and Jakayla Winnegan, his siblings, Brenda Winnegan, Phillip Winnegan, Janifer Winnegan, Tarsha Cotman, Lamont Lewis, Anthony Holland and Brian Holland, and a host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We will cherish the time we had to spend with our beloved.

On Thursday, February 22, 2024, viewing will be held 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. On Friday, February 23, 2024 at 12pm a Celebration of life will take place at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Winnegan family in your prayers.
