Beverly Drew

Beverly Drew, 55 of Smithfield, Virginia, transitioned from this life Monday, August 31, 2020 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.

She was the daughter of Edward and Susie Winnegan Drew. Beverly was a Graduate of Smithfield High School, Class of 1985. She joined Emmanuel Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age. Along with her parents she leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Susie Ann Fennell, Windsor, Va.; three brothers, Edward Drew, Jr. (Jacqueline) Smithfield, Va., Willie Drew, Sr. (Remona) Smithfield, Va., Calvin Drew, Newport News, Va.; her aunts, Alease Greene, and Gladys Bailey (Horace) both of Smithfield, Va., Mable Webster, Hampton, Va., Gloria Williams(Bill) Philadelphia, PA, and Nellie Mae Wells, Newport News, Va., her uncles, Bayboy Winnegan, and Tommy Winnegan(Mo) both of Smithfield, Va., Nelson Winnegan (Trice) Petersburg, Va., and Willie Drew (Sarah) Phil, PA,; nieces, Tokia Goodman, Alantiss Johnson, Geciara Drew; nephews: Rayshawn Delk, Tyrell Johnson, Montrell Johnson, and Elante' Drew, Willie Drew, Jr.

A Graveside Service will be held 11 am Sunday, September 6,2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery, 11150 Emmanuel Church Rd, Smithfield, VA 23430. Public Viewing will take place from 2-4 PM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Ms. Drew is in the loving and professional care of Shivers Funeral Chapel.
