Betty J. Shivers

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

Betty J. Delk Shivers transitioned from this life on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Mary Immaculate Hospital.

Betty Jean “Delk” Shivers was born on January 12, 1952, to Robert A. Delk and Henrietta “Moore” Delk in Isle of Wight County, Virginia.

Betty grew up in a large loving and warm family with thirteen siblings.

Betty loved to dance, eat, and take walks for exercise.

Betty married Leslie R. Shivers, Jr. in 1977.

Betty became a dedicated servant of Jehovah in 1979 and had faithfully served since then. She truly enjoyed serving as a Regular Pioneer for many years.

She will surely be missed by all her family and friends.

Viewing will take place on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held10:30am on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness Smithfield, VA. Interment will be in Mount Ray Cemetery Surry, Va.  Please keep the Delk-Shivers family in your thoughts and prayers.
