Beatrice Rebecca Jones entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in her home surrounded by family. Born August 13, 1935 to the late William Fleetwood and the Late Cora Delk Fleetwood in Isle of Wight County, VA, She received her education at George Tyler High School. After marrying she moved to New York and began her career at Rockland Psychiatric Center as a Therapy Aide until retiring in 1993. After her retirement, she continued to care for many as a Home Care Taker. She was a very active and dedicated Deaconess in Faith Temple COCWIH in Spring Valley, NY., known by many for her delicious cakes. Bar none her greatest passion was the love and care of her family. Beatrice leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband of sixty-three years, James Jones. One son, Arthur Fleetwood (Nora), three daughters: Phillis Jones, Sharon Jones-Swann (Aaron), Jane Jones (Wilbur). Ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Siblings, two brothers: Deacon Robert Fleetwood (Prentis), Elder Melvin L. Fleetwood (Alfreda), three sisters: Mary Copeland, Charlotte Smith (Pernell) and Evelyn Terrell (Herman). One aunt, Brother-in-law a host of nephews, nieces, Church Family and Friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00pm Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Mt. Lebanon Church of God in Christ Suffolk, Va. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the Celebration of Life Service. Interment will be in the Carver Memorial cemetery Suffolk, Va. Professional services are entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
