Beatrice A. Gray

“In the name of Jesus, we have the Victory” Beatrice Gray is the daughter of the late George B and Elsie W. Gray. She became a member of Holly Grove AME Church in her youth. She attended and graduated from Georgie Tyler High School Windsor, Virginia. After graduating from high school, she moved to Newark, New Jersey. Her occupation as a care giver span more than 30 years in the state of New Jersey. After the passing of her mother, she moved back home where she resided until her health conditions made it necessary to go to a nursing home where her illness could be properly cared for. Though she had no children of her own, she cared for and looked after many of her nieces and nephews as well as children in the neighborhood. She leaves to mourn her passing: three sisters Elsie G. Porter Windsor, Virginia, Vivian G. Parker (Burton) Elberon, Virginia, and Nannie G. Walker (Milton, Sr.) Windsor, Virginia, two brothers; George Gray, Jr. (Lucy) Windsor, Virginia and Sherman M. Gray, Richmond, Virginia Beatrice A. Gray Transitioned from this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 11:00am on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Holly Grove AME Church Cemetery. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, February 09, 2022 from 4-6pm at the Chapel. Please keep the Gray family in your thoughts and prayers.
