"I will both lie down in peace and sleep for thou Lord only makest me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8 Our beloved Audrey Marie Holmes was born April 10, 1957. Audrey transitioned into her Heavenly home on Dec. 01, 2019 Sentara Obici Hospital. Audrey retired from Jack-legged Seafood in 1998 in Suffolk, Va. She graduated from Windsor High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Olivia and Horace Holmes. Treasuring her memory are her children, Willie Thomas Holmes, Carol Boykins, Calvin (Buddy) Lenard Williams Jr and Felicia Holmes; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four sisters Gladys Elizabeth Kigler, Deloris Hunter, Dorothy Eley (Carl), Edna Baker; four brothers Charlie Eley (Darlene), Horace Holmes Jr.(Kimberly), Andrew Holmes, Jerry Holmes(Gail), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Shivers Funeral Chapel . Viewing will take place Tuesday December 10, 2019 from 4-7pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
