Anna Doris Brown passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. As a lifelong resident of Smithfield, Va., she made invaluable contributions to the community, including 46 years of service dedicated to Isle of Wight County School System.
Left behind to cherish memories of Anna are her four children: Larry Brown (Joahn) of Smithfield, Va., Julie Brown-Woodland (Curtis) of Smithfield, Va., Doris Brown of Clinton, Md., Frank Brown of Smithfield, Va.; five grandchildren: Tanisha White (Lavores) of Smithfield, Va., Larry Brown II (Nicole) of Newport News, Va., Ivan Brown of Smithfield, Va., Brittany Brown of Washington, D.C. and Jerrene Faltz of Carrollton, Va.; eight great grandchildren: Indea Brown, Jayda Brown, Brooklyn Faltz, Alonna Brown, Johnnie Faltz II, Amare Brown, Aiden Brown and Lauryn Brown; sister Flossie Howell, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00am Saturday February 10, 2018 at Main street Baptist Church, Smithfield, Va.
