Heaven's AMBER ALERTA beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, friend and most recently new mother, Miss Amber Rae Holloway, 24, affectionately known as "Queen Bee," "Bee Bee," "Big A" and "Snacks" of Surry, VA transitioned to heaven on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Amber was born to Annie Pretlow Holloway and William Henry Holloway, Jr. on January 17, 1993 in Newport News, VA. Amber graduated from Smithfield High School in 2011. Amber was employed at Amazon, Chester, VA. Amber loved God, family, her new baby boy, being a chef, dancing, singing, joking, cosmetology, everybody's baby,children and anyoneshe knew. She leaves to cherish her memory: son Paxsen Nova Holloway; Mother and Best Friend, Annie Virginia Pretlow; Father, William Henry Holloway, Jr.; Brother, Jared Hunter Holloway; Sister, Deven Reese Holloway; Paternal Grandparents, William (Ethel Jean) Holloway; Maternal Grandparents, Harold (Florine) Pretlow; Godson, Nasir Delk; Goddaughters, Journie Lawrence and Bella Turner Ruffin; Aunts: Harlene Butler, Vera (Kevin) Wright, Valda Godsey, Ula (Sam) Lyons (Godparents), Jacqueline (Clyde) Lane, Tisha (Gene) Watson; Uncles: Charlie Holloway, Teva (Darlene) Pretlow (Godfather), Ivan (Christal) Pretlow, Ronzel (Telesha) Pretlow, and Jamon Pretlow; Best Friends: Chasity Bowser, Kym Lawrence, Kenya Price, Kendris White; a special friend, Anthony Fulgham, and a host of other relatives, love ones, and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm Saturday November 11, 2017 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Surry, VA. Viewing will be held Friday November 10, 2017 from 4-7pm, also at Mt. Nebo. Professional Services are entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
